I love to be positively surprised. And SimplyO3 has achieved just that. I wrote about this machine months ago and I was not impressed. There were a few things I had not liked like the confusing chart, the too high ozone concentration at moderate oxygen flows and a discount model which applied only to wholesale buyers. And they even removed the sharp edges on the machine!

SimplyO3 heard me and they fixed all that!

This cute little ozone generator now comes with a straightforward output chart printed on top. It has been modified so that it now produces better ozone concentrations at low oxygen flows, and it offers attractive discounts for even single machine buyers.

Win-Win-Win.

I love it!

This is really a great machine for the small budget. For members of the Facebook group there is a discount available of $50. Join the group and you will receive a code which you can use at the check out. It applies to any purchase above $550. Until the end of February 2017 there is even a super exclusive discount of $100, please see below for details.

The machine now produces adequate ozone concentrations at the most commonly used flows of 1/2 to 1/16 LPM. It is small and quiet. There is a built in fan which makes a pleasant, whizzing sound instead of a high pitched like some other ozone generators.

The clean, industrial look of the machine might seem familiar to you since other manufacturers have copied the casing. What makes this machine stand apart from other nearly equal looking products is the now modified ozone output which makes it more suitable for home ozone applications.

According to Micah Lowe, the founder of SimplyO3, the innards of the Stratus 2.0 consist of 100% ozone resistant materials like titanium, glass, silicone, and kynar.

The machine runs on any voltage in the world from 90 to 240 V. You just need the right plug adapter which is easily obtainable for a few bucks, and you can use the machine anywhere you want. The tiny size allows it to be easily transported.

The Stratus 2.0 does NOT have a dial, so the ozone concentration is adjusted solely through the oxygen flow.

The oxygen in port has a 3/16” outer diameter, the ozone out port is a luer lock. The machine comes with 6’ of silicone tubing which fits the oxygen in port perfectly, a luer lock connector for the ozone port, and a three year warranty.

There are discounts available: If you join the Facebook group “Ozone to Health” you will obtain an discount code for $50 off.

SimplyO3’s online shop offers many other accessories for the home and professional user.

Summary: The Stratus 2.0 is a unique and tiny ozone generator with a great ozone output at the right oxygen flows. It is perfect for the small budget or frequent traveler.

– I can’t think of any cons! This is as close to a perfect machine as you can get.

I absolutely love this company: Promolife has been selling ozone gear since the 90s. If you followed them for some years as I have, you will recognize one of their most striking features: how readily they respond to their customers’ needs and even seem to anticipate them.

You bought an ozone generator at a yard sale and would like to know if it still works properly? Not a problem: Promolife has the solution: the Ozone Generator Testing Service.

You live in the UK or the EU and can’t buy a pediatric regulator which would fit your UK or EU tank? Not a problem, Promolife has the solution: an adapter to fit your tank and a CGA 540 pediatric regulator. How freaking cool is that?

You don’t want to spend extra money on a humidifier AND a water bubbler? Not a problem with Promolife: just buy the Ozone Water Bubbler/Humidifier Combo. It allows you to ozonate your water without creating excess ozone in the room – all you need to do is attach the destructor unit. Or you can use the same glass bottle as a humidifier – all you need to do is disconnect the destructor and connect it with an earscope or catheter. E voila!

Not to speak of the new hard-shell sauna, now back at Promolife, bigger and badder. Or the build your package service, or the all-Teflon earscope, or the ozonated oil suppositories, or the glass syringes with luer lock fittings. Promolife always comes with new exciting stuff, always reaching out to its customers, seemingly eager to fulfill each of their ozone dreams.

That same mind set seems to have been applied to their line of ozone generators.

The O3Elite Single Stage ozone machine is a small, light, quiet ozone generator. It is the perfect ozone device for home use. If your main goal to get an ozone generator is for personal health care purposes, this generator offers all you need.

Both ozone generators (the O3Elite Single Stage and the O3Elite Dual Stage) are endowed with little details which show how much thought and care went into their design. The ozone output dials are elegant metal knobs with a smooth feel to them and a subtle “click” when the output is turned off. The oxygen in and ozone out connectors are luer lock attachments which come with caps to protect them from dust if you don’t use them. A luer lock is like a little screw. Once it’s screwed on you don’t need to worry about accidentally disconnecting it. It’s sits air tight.

The generator comes with a number of extras, including additional luer lock and quick connectors so you can easily attach anything from humidifiers to catheters.

[A drawback of the Single Stage, as opposed to the Dual Stage, is the missing chart on top of the machine. It only comes with a printed version]. – SCRATCH THAT!! The new single stage machines come also with a chart printed on top. You have one of the old ones? Contact Promolife and ask them for a chart and they will send you one.

Here a video by my friend Teresa Caballero how to best attach the new chart on top of your chartless single cell O3Elite:

The O3Elite Ozone generators are unique: they use ceramic in their oxygen gas chambers. They are single dielectrics, which means  there is ceramic on one side of the ozone chamber and an aluminum oxide electrode on the other side. Both materials are highly ozone resistant with aluminum oxide being approved even by the most stringent German industry standards and ceramic being used in high powered industrial grade water ozonaters and being known for their high ozone resistance.

Another great extra feature of the machine are the different electric plugs which come with it: whether you’re in the US, EU or UK – you just select the corresponding plug to use it in whichever country you are. No transformer necessary and you don’t have to worry about accidentally damaging the machine with a too high voltage. This, plus its light weight makes it the perfect ozone generator for traveling.

Are still concerned about a possible contamination? Buy a line filter, also available at Promolife.

Another great thing about the generators is that they can be completely cleaned. Should you accidentally get water into the chamber, just run oxygen through it.

Oil is a little more complicated matter. One should always take careful precautions not to get any oil inside an ozone generator. The simplest and best solution is a trap.

Summary: If you’re looking for a light, quiet, durable ozone generator to use for personal purposes from a great, service-oriented company which gives you a lifetime warranty, and if you are not an “all-glass” fanatic, that’s the ozone generator for you.

– high ozone output
– best deal for an all-glass generator
– comes with individual output chart
– 5% discount with the ‘generator5‘ code

– CONS

– no extras
– lowest setting on dial is “1”, not “0”
– compared to other generators, it’s a little noisier

This little known ozone generator is a real gem. I call it “Paul’s Machine” because it’s sold exclusively by Paul Harvey, who operates the website ozonatedoilonline.com. The machine’s actual name is “Azcozon HTU-500”.

Paul has been in the ozone business since the 1990’s when he started experimenting with home assembled ozone generators. Currently, Paul sells ozonated oils, ozone water purifiers, various ozone accessories and of course the HTU-500, aka Paul’s Machine. This great ozone generator is assembled at the same company which assembles Longevity Resources ozone generators.

When people start looking into ozone generators they soon find out that all-glass ozone chambers (also called dual dielectric) are considered as “the” top of the line technology when it comes to ozone production. And they also find out that those type of ozone machines come at a steep price.

Paul’s Machine combines two great features: an all-glass ozone chamber AND an affordable price. It costs nearly the same as the next such comparable ozone generator, but it has a 40 to 60% higher ozone output. It’s powerful enough for any home ozone application you desire, including making ozonated olive oil.

Paul’s Machine does not make any compromises: you get the purity guaranteed by a glass ozone chamber and the ozone range of a powerful home ozone generator.

It has an adjustable ozone output knob which allows you to set 50 different ozone concentrations between the oxygen flows of 1/32 and ½ LPM.

It also comes with quality certificates like CSA, QAI, and UL which attest to its quality and safety. The generator can be easily mounted on a wall.

Paul offers a 5% discount if you use the code generator5 at the checkout.

The 240 V version is available for an additional $50.

It comes with a 3 year warranty.

The generator has a few minor drawbacks:

– It’s a little noisier than other machines. Which with a dual dielectric is hard to avoid. Dual dielectrics tend to be noisier than single dielectrics.
– The dial’s lowest setting is 1, instead of 0, which can be a little confusing. There is also no clear mark on the machine which shows at which level the dial is set on.
– Doesn’t come with any extras.

Summary: If you’re looking for an all-glass ozone generator but do not want to pay top dollar for a brand name, then Paul’s Machine is currently the best deal on the market. You get a great quality generator, assembled in a Canadian factory, satisfying many North American safety and quality standards, which is equipped with a state of the art dual dielectric chamber.

What else is great at ozonatedoilonline.com?

If you want to ozonate your water with style, get this stainless steel water stone.

Stainless Steel Diffuser, ozonatedoilonline

It’s a unique ozone gadget, exclusively sold by Paul Harvey. This is the only water stone I ever use for ozonating water.

Longevity EXT50

Longevity Resources is an acclaimed company in the ozone generator business. It currently makes and sells five different ozone generators, one of which is the Longevity EXT50. With a maximum ozone output of 55 ug/ml it is the least powerful of the five and the only one without a dial knob. It only has an ON/OFF switch. The ozone concentration is entirely regulated through the oxygen flow.

The maximum ozone concentration of 55 ug/ml is ideal for beginners or those who do not feel that they need a machine which churns out massive ozone amounts. Despite its relatively modest ozone output, the EXT50 can handle all the common home ozone applications like insufflations, water, sauna.

I’ve had an EXT50 for around 4 years now. I’m very happy with the machine. I decided to buy it because I wanted to have peace of mind when giving myself ozone intravenously. I wanted to make sure that the ozone going into my body would be free of any possible contaminants, and I felt that a Longevity generator could provide that.

The machine itself is small and very light weight. It can be mounted on the wall, although I personally prefer to keep it on a little side table.

There is around one foot of each PVC and silicone tubing attached to the ‘oxygen in’ and ‘ozone out’ ports. There are quick connectors at the end of each tubing. Other than that, the machines comes with no extras. Anything else: from humidifiers, catheters, to extra quick connectors has to be ordered separately.

And that’s where in my opinion one of the downsides of Longevity’s services start: Longevity does not haven an online shop. Every order is processed on the phone.

This can be a good thing or a … not so good thing. A good thing if you’re new to home ozone applications, have no idea what you need to get started, which connectors go with which equipment and which regulator with which oxygen tank. In that case, the Longevity support staff will help you figure out what you need and put together a customized package for you. On the other hand this could also be to your disadvantage, since after talking to the very persuasive sales staff you might find yourself buying equipment which you either might have bought at a much cheaper price elsewhere or which you don’t really need.

There are no pictures of the many accessories which Longevity sells and which they say are absolutely necessary for the various ozone methods. Often, the purchase of a $995 ozone generator ends up with several thousand $ worth of other merchandise. If you have a large budget and don’t mind paying extra as long as you get everything you need from one source and do not need to shop around, then this is certainly the right place for you. You will get friendly, thorough phone support which will ensure that you get the highest quality products from a one-stop-shop: they have everything you need.

The EXT50 110 V costs $995, the 240V version costs $1,100, or $105 more.

It comes with a lifetime warranty on the quartz glass chamber and a 2 year warranty on the electronics.

Summary: The EXT50 is a simple, no-frills, yet high quality dual dielectric ozone generator from a highly reputable and experienced company which is known to have been selling machines to medical professionals for more than 20 years.

You are convinced? This is the machine for you? Great! If you feel that this website made the decision easier for you and you want to return the favor, just mention my name, “Paola from thepowerofozone.com” to the Longevity staff when you order it. Thank you, buddy, I appreciate it!

– The two dials can be a little confusing to figure out

I absolutely love Promolife. And not only because they send me a bunch of free stuff (thank you guys!), I’ve actually had a crush on them for a number of years. Ever since I learned about ozone therapy, I’ve been ogling their ozone products and salivating over them. But I, often living on a super low budget, could rarely afford them. “One day, I will get one of their glass humidifiers” I used to dream. Some people dream of a new Mercedes, I was dreaming of Promolife ozone gear.

I’ve had one of their generators, the O3Elite Dual Stage, for a number of months now and I am surprised by how much I like this machine. I use it for anything from insufflations, making ozonated water to ozone IVs. Just like the Single Stage, this machine is small, light, quiet and elegant. You can tell how much love and care Promolife put into designing both generators. There is thought behind every detail. It has the same elegant ozone output dials with a smooth feel to them which make a subtle “click” when the dial is turned off.

The Dual Stage is so-called because it has two ozone chambers. The oxygen goes through two stages of electrification: it first is subjected to an electric field in one chamber, and then if the resulting ozone concentration is not enough, you can turn on the second chamber to achieve an even higher ozone concentration.

Each chamber can be used independently. You can choose to use just one cell so that you essentially have the output of the O3Elite Single Stage ozone generator. If you use both cells, you increase the ozone output up to 120 ug/ml. If you’re thinking about making your own ozonated oil, this machine will help you save time.

Both O3Elite ozone generators have a number of characteristics in common:

They come with luer lock attachments with caps to protect them from dust. Thanks to the luer locks you do not need to worry about your tubing getting accidentally disconnected by pulling on it. The connectors sit air tight.

Both chambers of the Dual Stage are single dielectrics with ceramic and highly ozone resistant aluminum oxide. The ceramic chamber assures low heat and hence a stable ozone generation.

They’re cleanable: If water enters the ozone chamber you just run oxygen at 1 LPM through it and the machine can be operated again. Oil is a little harder to remove. Great caution should be taken to not allow oil to enter. Best solution is a trap.

They come with multiple electric plugs, so that the machines can be used with a variety of voltages and plugs. Damage due to accidentally subjecting it to a too high voltage, is virtually impossible: you just select one of the adapters which come with the machine.

One of the features I’ve been enjoying the most is the stenciled ozone output chart on top of the O3Elite Dual Stage Generator. The Dual Stage allows for around 50 different settings between the oxygen flows of 1/32 to 1/2 LPM. Thanks to the chart you don’t have to look at a separate output chart while you operate the machine. You can verify the correct setting just by looking at the machine.

Summary: Quite, light, durable, and very powerful, there is little this machine cannot do. From luer locks, to the cleanable cell, to the multiple electric plugs – this generator has been designed to make its use as convenient as possible for you. If an “all-glass” machine is not a priority for you, this model will fulfill each of your ozone wishes.

If you’re looking for an ozone generator of great quality for home use then you can’t go wrong with a machine from Longevity Recourses.

The Canadian company has been making high quality products for over 21 years. I personally have seen Longevity ozone generators in the offices of four different medical doctors in the US. Their machines are dual dielectric which means that the gas chamber in which ozone is created is made entirely of glass, guaranteeing the highest purity possible.

Longevity is very proud for being the only North American ozone equipment maker which is supported by the American Academy of Ozone, presided by Dr. Frank Shallenberger, one of the foremost ozone therapy pioneers in the US. They are the only ozone machines with an ETL certificate.

What is important to note that despite its medical chops, Longevity generators are not certified medical equipment. They are officially sold as water purification devices (as are all generators presented on this website).

Both the EXT 120 and the EXT120 T “Ultra” are powerful ozone machines with a maximum ozone output of 120 ug/ml at the lowest flow of 1/32 LPM. You can do anything with them: from ozonated oil, ozonated water, to insufflations or saunas. Longevity says its machines are made to run 24/7 without risk of burn out.

The EXT120 has a dial knob with 10 positions giving you a range of 50 different settings at oxygen flows between ½ to 1/32 LPM.

As mentioned above, one possible downside to buying at Longevity is the lack of an online shop. Every order is processed on the phone. You can ask for a current price list which does not come with pictures of all the equipment, only a select few. If you’re new to ozone therapy and do not know which equipment you need for which ozone modalities you can quickly find yourself spending a few hundred to a few thousand dollars more than you anticipated after talking to the sales personnel. On the other hand, if you don’t mind spending extra money on ozone gear, but in return knowing that you will receive the highest quality possible from one place, then Longevity Resources is the right company for you. They will always give you kind and thorough phone and email support, and give a lifetime warranty on the quartz glass chambers.

The generators do not come with any extras besides one foot of tubing and quick connectors attached to its oxygen and ozone ports.

Longevity Resources does not give any discounts.

Once you have bought a Longevity generator you can apply for a referral program and be paid up to $150 per newly generated sale for Longevity, but not before.

The EXT120 T has a timer, the EXT120 does not.

The EXT120 T “Ultra” is a full digital machine. It has a built in digital timer and a digital ozone concentration selector.

The timer allows to set a specific time for the production of ozone. If for example you want to ozonate your water for only 30 min, then you program the timer accordingly and the machine will turn itself off after the 30 minutes have expired. One can also choose seconds and hours as units.

The EXT120 comes in 110V or 220V version without a change in the price. But you need to specify which one you want when you order.
The EXT120t 220V model costs $2,200 and runs on power supply from 100 to 240 V.

The Canadian company Plasmafire Intl over the last 25 years has perfected Nikola Tesla’s cold plasma technology for ozone generators. It makes their products stand apart from all other ozone generators on the market which use corona discharge. The exact construction of the generators is kept secret by their designer Saul Pressman. What we do know is that it involves glass tubes with noble gases. It is a singular type of a dual dielectric ozone generator. The gases are excited by high voltage creating a plasma field through which oxygen flows. The oxygen picks up energy in the plasma field and some of it reassembles into ozone.

Other dual dielectric ozone generators also use glass as the dielectric material, but their electrodes are made of metal, usually stainless steel, aluminum or titanium. When metal is subjected to high current, considerable amounts of heat are generated. Cold plasma generators on the other hand are electrostatic devices which use voltage and do not create heat.

Consequently, they produce uncontaminated ozone and are extremely durable. Saul Pressman alleges that in the 23 years of production no uncontaminated Plasmafire tube has ever failed. The lack of any heat during the process makes them perfect devices to ozonate olive oil: they can be run continuously without any need for cooling.

Cold plasma generators also have a built-in safety precaution: they do not produce ozone concentrations above 70 ug/ml. Interestingly, it has been determined that this is also the ozone concentration above which erythrocytes (red blood cells) are damaged by ozone. Which is the reason why high end German ozone generators (accessible only to medical professionals) do not exceed an ozone concentration of 70 ug/ml.

    Hi Paola,
Im considering buying the Longevity ext 50.
the part That confuses me is the 55ug/ml . Is that powerful enough to treat and help with Lyme etc?
I don’t get what that refers to.

    Thank you so much ,
    Kim

      Hi Kim,
55 ug/ml refers to the ozone concentration produced by the generators. ug is micrograms. So 55ug/ml means there are 55 micrograms of ozone per one milliliter of ozone/oxygen gas mix.
The higher that number, the more powerful ozone output the machine produces.
Many doctors who treat Lyme and other infections successfully, use ozone concentrations in the 40 to 50 ug/ml range, so yes it appears that is enough to help with Lyme. Successful ozone treatments also depend on the frequency and duration of applications, not only the concentration.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
      Paola
