Epidural Transforaminal Injection of Ozone help better than Steroids injections for Chronic Lower Back Pain (CLBP), Lebanese Study

A study from Lebanon looked at 100 patients with chronic lower back pain (CLBP) from two different hospitals.
50 of the patients were treated with steroid injections via transforaminal epidural injections, the other 50 with ozone injections.
They were randomly picked from an existing patient pool, the study participants were NOT recruited for the study, from what I understand. So, the quality of the study is not very high, since it's possible the study designers picked the patients whose outcomes would verify their biases.
In any case, result was that ozone injections worked better and longer. Steroids worked better in the short term.

"Ozone was more beneficial in the long term (six months). Studying patients with different types of radiculopathies, we found that Ozone was better than steroids over both short and long-term durations."
